Synergie is currently seeking a Field Service Tech for the Etobicoke area. This role requires installation experience within the retail environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation and Service of the Company’s Loss Prevention Systems
- Perform Preventive Maintenance of the company’s product/systems
- Complete any service and repair work orders, primarily within your assigned areas
- Travel to various areas of the country or assigned areas to complete Installation, Service and Maintenance of the Company’s Systems
- Makes decisions regarding appropriate work needed to remedy system issues while onsite
- Assistance in the Supervision and Training of Field Services Apprentices, Technicians and Contractors
- Test and Tune our LP systems, assist engineering dept with requests
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years’ experience related to installation in retail environment; point of sales, alarm systems/security camera systems
- Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; adaptable
- Strong mathematical skills
- Professional, helpful and understanding
- Pay attention to detail
- Be highly organized and efficient
- Ability to take directions and follow through on instructions
- Be customer focused and a good problem solver
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good supervisory and leadership skills
- Experience working with Security Camera Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Electrical Devices, and Wireless Devices
- Experience with dustless concrete cutting and asphalt
- Experience installing devices in a retail environment
- Experience running wires through walls and ceilings
- Experience troubleshooting and tuning electrical devices
- Experience bending and running conduit
- Experience using power tools and scissor lifts
