Field Services Technician

$70-75k plus bonus

Synergie is currently seeking a Field Service Tech for the Etobicoke area.  This role requires installation experience within the retail environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation and Service of the Company’s Loss Prevention Systems
• Perform Preventive Maintenance of the company’s product/systems
• Complete any service and repair work orders, primarily within your assigned areas
• Travel to various areas of the country or assigned areas to complete Installation, Service and Maintenance of the Company’s Systems
• Makes decisions regarding appropriate work needed to remedy system issues while onsite
• Assistance in the Supervision and Training of Field Services Apprentices, Technicians and Contractors
• Test and Tune our LP systems, assist engineering dept with requests

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience related to installation in retail environment; point of sales, alarm systems/security camera systems
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; adaptable
• Strong mathematical skills
• Professional, helpful and understanding
• Pay attention to detail
• Be highly organized and efficient
• Ability to take directions and follow through on instructions
• Be customer focused and a good problem solver
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good supervisory and leadership skills
• Experience working with Security Camera Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Electrical Devices, and Wireless Devices
• Experience with dustless concrete cutting and asphalt
• Experience installing devices in a retail environment
• Experience running wires through walls and ceilings
• Experience troubleshooting and tuning electrical devices
• Experience bending and running conduit
• Experience using power tools and scissor lifts
