Join our client’s growing swim school as a General Manager, leading daily operations, staff management, and customer experience. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment and is passionate about water safety and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and scheduling
- Manage and motivate instructors and front-line staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and student satisfaction
- Drive enrolment growth and retention initiatives
- Monitor budgets, staffing, and facility maintenance
- Direct all day-to-day operational interactions with teachers
- Manage and lead the sales and administrative team of 2-3 staff, their targets and performance
- Ensure all health and safety policies are clearly documented, actioned and reported on where necessary
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in management, preferably in recreation, education, or aquatics
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance business goals with a fun, positive environment
- Empathetic
- Exceptional drive and work ethic
- Ability to work independently
