Cornwall, ON | Contract Role

Are you an HR professional who loves working with people and making things happen?
We’re looking for an organized, approachable, and proactive Human Resources team member. In this contract role, you’ll handle day-to-day HR operations — from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and policy support — while helping foster a positive, engaged workplace culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Support recruitment: post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding
  • Provide guidance on policies, performance, and employee questions
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Support benefits, payroll, and training initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of HR experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is an asset
