Job description:
Location: 100% Remote Canada (EST) | Schedule: Monday–Friday 9am to 5pm | Pay: $35/hr -$38.00/hr
We’re looking for a fluent bilingual (English/French) Registered Nurse with a strong medical background. In this role, you’ll leverage your clinical expertise—particularly in oncology and respirology (COPD/emphysema)—to review complex medical documentation.
This is a remote role, and you must be physically located in Canada.
What You’ll Do
- Review and interpret medical records to support claims and escalation processes.
- Apply clinical judgment to assess medical evidence.
- Collaborate with legal and insurance professionals, providing clear and well-reasoned clinical insights.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance through quality assurance activities such as audits and documentation checks.
- Manage multiple files with strong organization, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication in EN/FR.
- Registered Nurse with oncology and respirology experience.
- Clinical Experience: acute care, med/surg, long-term care, or telehealth.
- Medical Record Review: skilled in evaluating and interpreting medical documentation.
- Proven experience in case management
- Claims or disability adjudication
- Must pass a clear criminal background check
