Plant Operator (Rotating Shifts)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Plant Operator to join our client’s team in Saskatoon. This is a hands-on position involving bulk liquid loading, packaging, plant cleaning, and light maintenance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with physical work, and willing to work rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load bulk trucks with liquid products using bulk loading systems, hoses, and pumps.
  • Fill package orders (totes, drums, and pails).
  • Perform plant cleaning and general maintenance to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Carry out light maintenance tasks such as PVC piping installation and hose replacement.
  • Operate a forklift (training provided if required)
  • Follow all safety procedures, including wearing a respirator when needed (must be clean shaven).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience with pumps and PVC piping is an asset.
  • Forklift experience preferred (training/certification provided).
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (2 days, 2 nights, followed by days off).
  • Availability to work weekends and statutory holidays.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle — no bus service available during shift hours.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial plant environment.
