If you take pride in keeping things running smoothly and have a good eye for detail, this could be the perfect fit.
In this role, you’ll handle all incoming and outgoing shipments — making sure materials are received, entered into the system, and stored properly, and that outgoing orders are packed, documented, and shipped on time. You’ll also prepare paperwork for U.S. cross-border shipments and help keep the shipping area clean, safe, and efficient.
What You’ll Do
Receiving
- Greet and unload trucks as they arrive.
- Check deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect items for accuracy or damage and flag any issues.
- Enter received items into the system within 24 hours.
- Label and organize materials so they’re easy to find later.
Shipping
- Pack and ship all outgoing orders (parts, assemblies, etc.) accurately and on time.
- Double-check that each shipment matches its order.
- Create and maintain all shipping documents.
- Work with carriers to schedule pickups and ensure deliveries stay on track.
Cross-Border Shipments
- Prepare accurate paperwork for shipments going to the U.S.
- Send documents to customs brokers or logistics contacts right away.
- Keep records of all international shipments for compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail — you notice the small stuff.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Can work independently and stay productive without close supervision.
- Experience with shipping systems, ERP, or inventory software is a plus.
- Clear communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Valid forklift licence
What You Can Expect
- A steady, full-time role in a supportive environment.
- Clear processes and expectations — shipments in/out within 24 hours.
- A hands-on position where your accuracy and efficiency make a real difference.
