CAD Table Operator – Digital Press (Corrugate Industry)

$27.00 – $28.00 per hour
9am – 5pm, straight shifts, M-F
In this role you will be responsible for all activities associated with running the Digital Press and CAD Table for production runs.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain digital printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications
- Set up press machines according to job specifications, production schedules, and customer requirements.
- Operate the CAD table in accordance with safety protocols and production requirements
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure continuous operation of digital presses
- Inspect for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Verify job specifications, including size, color, board type, and ink color, to ensure compliance with job orders
- Collaborate with production and design teams to optimize methods
- Contribute to team meetings, share insights, and collaborate with other departments
- Perform required maintenance and report any potential mechanical issues
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent judgment of color accuracy, design, and print quality.
- Proficient in basic math and measurements, able to use and read a tape measure.
- Proficient in computer programs such as MS word, excel, etc.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and other design software is an asset.
- Competence in using computers for job functions and record-keeping.
- Corrugate converting experience considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience with digital press equipment in printing industry considered an asset
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to adapt to changes in production demands and job specifications.
- Must have a strong desire and potential to learn new skills
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
- Able to interpret variety of instructions in the Factory Ticket
- Able to provide and communicate sound information to Manager.
