Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing
The Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing (contract role) is responsible for shaping and communicating the company’s brand identity across all channels. In this role, you will build brand equity, drive consumer engagement, and foster loyalty through market research, creative campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a contract role with potential for long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.
- Develop and execute omni-channel marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Conduct market research and derive actionable insights to inform strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign performance, optimize initiatives, and report results to management.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to guidelines across all initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or a similar role, ideally in consumer goods.
- Strong skills in campaign design, marketing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, project management, negotiation, and analytical skills; bilingual in English and French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with SAP S4/Hana is an asset.
- Ability to analyze market feedback, pivot strategies, and secure product placement with vendors and retail partners.
- Professional demeanor with attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities, including occasional overtime.
