Technical Sales Representative
You are a confident, self-motivated Technical Sales Representative eager to grow the Greater Toronto Area market for a leading flooring company. This role is perfect for a relationship-focused, resilient sales professional who excels in construction and architectural environments and thrives on managing long, consultative sales cycles from specification through project completion.
The Role
- Develop and grow business with architectural firms, designers, project managers, and flooring dealers
- Manage 12–18 month sales cycles from product specification through project completion
- Strengthen and expand existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities
- Deliver engaging product presentations and promote technical solutions to clients
- Existing book of business provided plus expectation to generate new sales
- Attend annual North American training and team meetings
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field OR 5+ years of business development experience within the construction industry
- Proven success managing large projects with extended sales cycles
- Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable opening new doors and building relationships
- Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills
- Existing industry relationships are considered an asset
- A collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Passionate about sustainable and environmentally responsible products
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000 base salary plus bonus and commission
